Evansville, Alaska

Evansville sits on the Koyukuk River, in the foothills of the Brooks Range thirty five miles above the Arctic Circle.

Many of the residents are descended from Frank Tobuk, Sr.  Frank was born in 1900, an Eskimo, and learned Athabascan ways from his neighbors.  This region is a border between the two cultures.

Please feel free to contact us for more specific information about this isolated Alaskan community on the edge of one of the greatest wildernesses on earth.
