Building a better blog

I’m a sucker for blogs and books about frugality and simple living. While The Simple Dollar is really a personal finance blog, Trent writes a lot about frugality, and that’s what keeps me coming back.

He also has been building a successful blog for long enough (he quit his day job and got a book published on the strength of his blog) that he has some great tips for other bloggers looking to build readership and make their blogs stand out from the crowd.

This post about “Building a Better Blog” is actually a compilation of many links to a series of Simple Dollar articles on the topic, and there’s a ton of reading there, but it’s worth a new blogger’s time to cruise these links. He also links to articles from other bloggers who have a different perspective or different areas of expertise.

Recommended for beginning bloggers and those who have been around for a while and want to grow even more.
